El mundo de la moda nunca ha sido fácil. Hacerse un hueco en una profesión tan monopolizada por grandes firmas es muy duro, y encontrar algo que defina tu marca y la haga única lo es todavía más. Pero Andrés y Pere, de Barcelona (ciudad donde llevan a cabo la producción de sus prendas y que ha servido de inspiración para su primera colección), lo han conseguido con Balibur. ¿No conocías esta marca? Pues presta atención, que te va a encantar!

Andrés y Pere son dos emprendedores, o más bien aventureros, como ellos mismos se definen, que han decidido crear su propia marca de moda masculina. Y es que hace falta echarle un buen par y ser valiente en los tiempos que corren para crear tu propia firma. Toda una aventura a la que se han lanzado con toda la ilusión y las ganas del mundo, con unos principios y unos valores muy claros: emplear materiales de calidad, respetar la producción local y cuidar el patrón con todo detalle. Y yo, que ya he tenido la suerte de vivir algún que otro #momentoBalibur, os puedo asegurar que vestir una camisa hecha con tanto cuidado y mimo, se nota.

Y ahora vosotros os preguntaréis: ¿#momentoBalibur? ¿Qué es eso? Pues qué mejor que hacer uso de sus propias palabras para ilustrarlo:

Todos estos, y muchos más, pueden ser un #momentoBalibur, y es que sus diseños son la mezcla perfecta entre lo clásico y lo moderno, tan apropiados para trabajar como para irte de fiesta con los amigos o ir a comer el domingo con tu suegra y dejarla boquiabierta de lo guapo que vas.

Como no podría ser de otra forma, Andrés y Pere quieren que Balibur se consolide como una marca de referencia en España e internacionalmente, pero son conscientes de que las cosas bien hechas llevan su tiempo. Por lo pronto, están trabajando en una línea de polos y camisetas que saldrán pronto a la luz. Tampoco descartan la idea de diseñar zapatillas o pantalones. Estoy seguro de que Balibur acabará vistiendo de arriba a abajo al hombre del siglo XXI. Lo que sí tienen claro es que van a seguir cuidando la calidad de los materiales y el diseño de cada una de sus prendas, por eso han lanzado el Patrón Slim Fit, con una guía de tallas desde la XS a la XXL para que encuentres la camisa que te quede como un guante. The fashion world has never been easy. It's so monopolized by big firms that trying to find your own voice within it is very difficult, and finding out something that makes it unique is even harder. But Andrés and Pere, from Barcelona (the city where they produce their clothing line and which has inspired them for their first collection), have made it with Balibur, Didn't you know this brand? Stay tuned, cause you're gonna love it!

Andrés and Pere are two entrepreneurs, although they prefer to define themselves as adventurous, who have decided to create their own male fashion brand. You have to be very brave nowadays in order to create your own firm. An adventure indeed that they have started full of excitement and with very clear principles and values: to use quality materials, to respect local production and to take care of any detail regarding the pattern. And I, after being lucky enough to have experienced some #momentoBalibur, can assure you that wearing a shirt which was made with such care and love is worth it.

And now you may wonder: #momentoBalibur? What's that? Well, their own words illustrate perfectly the concept:

"That endless night at the beach. The conversations that start and night and end with the sun light. The unexpected trips. Those trips where you get lost but - surprisingly - you end up finding yourself more than ever. The unexpected visitors. The casual encounters. Those days when you get up with your left foot but someone turns it up side down. The bars that everybody though they'd be a failure but they end up being your favorites. The day you tried to amaze your friends cooking for them and you end up ordering take away food. The day you tried to amaze your (ex)girlfriend cooking for her and you end up ordering take away food (although she never found it out). The day you made your first eatable sushi. The rest of the times also count. The day someone thought you were that famous actor - yes, the actor you never recall his name -. The song of the moment (your song) that you listen to it again and again for hours."

All of them, and many more, can be a #momentoBalibur, because their designs are the perfect combination between classic and modern, as appropriate to wear them for job as to party all night or appear at your mother-in-law house on Sunday to have lunch and leave her speechless being that handsome. 

Obviously, Andrés and were want Balibur to become Balibur an important brand in Spain and also internationally. Although, they're perfectly conscious that if you want to do something good, you have to avoid the rush. As of now, they're working on a clothing line based on T-shirts and polo shirts that will be out soon. They'd also like to design shoes or trousers. I'm hundred per cent sure that Balibur will end up dressing from head to toe the 21st century man. One thing is clear, they'll keep on taking care of the quality of the materials and the design of any of their products, that's why they've launched the Slim Fit Pattern, with a size guide from XS to xxl so you can find the shirt which suits you the most.
